The Fishermen Of Duana

The Fishermen Of Duana

It’s not a secret that the port is my favourite place to shoot in the whole town.

I photograph the port because it never stops moving. Fishermen working, cats waiting for scraps, people buying fish or passing by the sea. Nothing is staged.

Everyone is focused on what they’re doing. I’m interested in these ordinary moments. Work, waiting, exchange, all happening side by side.

The port is a place where daily life unfolds in public, and my photographs come from spending time there and paying attention.
